Private Pottery Wheel Lesson

Whether you are making your first attempt at throwing on the wheel, or looking to upskill, taking a private lesson is a great way to increase your confidence on the pottery wheel.

Private or Semi Private Lesson

Your private lesson with one of our resident instructors will give you 1 hour and 45 minutes of one-on-one instruction on the wheel.

This lesson will teach you technique and give you the tips you need to advance your skills. You can learn how to make a dinnerware set, vase, planter pot, incense holder, birdhouse, or lidded jar.

The fee includes instruction, clay and all the tools needed for your lesson. You can choose two pieces to be fired and to keep.

Hi, I'm Katie!

I originally started my pottery journey in high school at about 15, and it has been a deep-seated passion of mine ever since. I absolutely love to teach others and share the incredibly satisfying experience of creating something made by your own hands. I take great pleasure in walking each student through every step of the process and helping them create pieces (and fun memories!) they will cherish for a lifetime.

Katie is generally available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
