Whether it’s your first attempt at throwing on the wheel or you’re looking to upskill, taking a private lesson is a great way to increase your confidence on the pottery wheel.

Your private lesson with one of our resident instructors will give you 1 hour & 45 minutes of instruction on the wheel. Each lesson will focus on proper technique & give you the tips you need to advance your skills.

The fee includes instruction, clay & all the tools needed for your lesson. You can choose up to two pieces to be fired & to keep.

Lessons are available for 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 with one of our expert instructors listed below.

    BIO

Kay found clay growing up in the wilds of Maine. While she'd eventually return to her hometown, it wasn't for art but for teaching.

After three years as a high school teacher, she left the profession to pursue photography and, now, ceramics.

She loves helping fellow art-curious souls find their way with clay and particularly enjoys using various illustrative techniques on her own work (The Groggy Rabbit).

    BIO

Teaching art, to me, is being part of someone’s journey into creativity. From their first touch of clay, through the basics and fundamentals of how to shape it, to sharing their moment of pure joy in seeing what they have created. This is what inspires and sustains my own creativity, and I am honored to be a part of it.
